These are the paintings i'm working on at the moment for our grid project in painting class BFA stage two!! its all about the space between the paintings and the lines on the boards. i want it to represent a landscape, and the grid fits into it because a landscape has meeting lines at the sky, sea and land. you also can't always see parts of the landscape, hence the meaning of the gaps and the boards not fitting together to make one perfect line to line painting!!Wednesday, March 19, 2008

drawing sound
drawing sound.. this is relevant because this is our assignment in drawing at the moment. its amazing the shapes and what not you get the urge to draw when you are told to draw the sound.
Antique grid
Grids are what we're studying in painting at Otago Polytechnic BFA Stage Two at the moment.. this is an amazing and different example of a grid!!
